So, yes, it has been a couple months since I have posted. I have no excuses. Just too busy...
Anyway, forget about that. WE HAVE PHOTOS!!!! We sent the girls a Chinese New Year package with some goodies. There was to be a cake too but the orphanage director asked if we could maybe send a bigger one and have a party for all of the kids to celebrate Chinese New Year and the girls getting a Forever Family. What are we going to say "no?" Of course, we would be glad to. So later this week the girls will be having a party with all of their friends. This is awesome!!!!! This whole process from the beginning has gone so smoothly and now being able to have this contact is the "icing on the cake" (literally too with the party).
So, a little surprised at Maggie's height. Yes, Maggie is 11 and Hope is 12 and by the photos she looks to be about 5-6 inches taller than Hope. We definitely were not expecting that big a difference. As you can see by the photos it looks like they "almost" got a smile out of Maggie too. We always get big smiles from Hope. I think she in just naturally happy. (I hope so anyway). They both look good and this is all starting to become very real now. Our papers are in China and now waiting for the government to approve them. There are a couple extra pieces of paper and we will be on our way. I know, it doesn't sound like much but it will probably take 5-6 months before we are going to bring them home.
Thank you to everyone along the way for your prayers and support. We are truly grateful to all of you.
Mr. Bill
